The Career Counseling Cell of Govt. Women College Anantnag organized an Awareness Programme on Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme on 10th April 2025 under the patronage of the principal, Prof. (Dr.) Masood Ahmad Malik. The objective of the programme was to acquaint the students with various procedures and opportunities under the Prime Minister’s internship scheme. The programme commenced with the welcome address by Prof. Shahnaz Gul, Convenor Career Counseling Cell, who highlighted the importance of internships in enhancing students’ employability and practical skills. In his presentation, Prof. Shams ul Din Sheikh, Co-Convenor, Career Counseling Cell spoke on the various components of the scheme, eligibility criteria, selection process, benefits for students and the sectors covered under the internship programme. Students were encouraged to register on the official portal and make use of the opportunities provided by the government to gain experience in reputed organizations & companies. The session was followed by an interactive Q&A segment, where students voiced their queries and expressed enthusiasm about participating in the scheme. The event concluded with vote of thanks presented by Prof Bilal Ahmad Shah, member of the committee.
