STUDY TOUR / INDUSTRIAL VISIT. A visit to Industrial Estate Khonmoh was organized by the Department of Home Science for the students of 5th semester. The visit being a part of their Practical curriculum was aimed to provide practical exposure to the industrial application of principles learned in their subject. The primary objectives of the tour were to observe large scale production, processing and quality control methods used. To observe the application of HACCP guidelines by the manufacturers. Understand the flow of work, facility layout and resource management strategies. Bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial practices.
