Standard Club GCW Anantnag students participated in a national-level exhibition titled “Bharat Sanrachna, Jammu and Kashmir, 2025” at SKICC, Srinagar on 10 July 2025. A vibrant delegation of around 40 students actively participated on the first day of the prestigious exhibition, who were accompanied by Prof. Imteyaz Ahmed (Dept. of Zoology) and Mentor Standard Club GCW Anantnag, Prof. Nawaz Ahmed (Dept. of Chemistry), Dr Ilyas Ahmed (Dept. of Physics), Ms. Masrat Jan (MTS) and Yasmeena Akhter (LFE). The exhibition showcased some major developmental milestones of the country and highlighted the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. Here more than 60 national institutions, including top government agencies like DRDO, ISRO, ICMR, CSIR, ICAR, NHPC, and the Geological Survey of India, are participating. The exhibition features live demonstrations, interactive pavilions, cultural stalls, workshops, and youth zones to engage students, farmers, entrepreneurs, and the general public. The members of the Standard Club GCW Anantnag explored diverse learning experiences and gained first-hand knowledge about various aspects like the significance of ISI marks and Hallmarking for product safety and purity, the rate and growth of national development in various sectors, career opportunities in various fields of modern India and others. GCW Anantnag expresses its gratitude to the Bureau of Indian Standards, JKBO, for the sponsorship of the visit. The enthusiastic participation of the GCW Anantnag delegation underscores the college's commitment to fostering academic excellence and practical awareness among its students beyond the campus walls.
