Department of Clinical Biochemistry

The department of Clinical Biochemistry was established in 2021 with a vision to act is an interface between clinical & non-clinical aspects of Biochemistry that aims to produce employable skilled manpower with sound technical knowhow in the field of diagnostic health care system. The Department offers an eight semester UG/UG Honors program in Clinical Biochemistry as major subjects as per NEP-2020. The Department of Clinical Biochemistry is hosted in E –Block Ground floor with a well-established laboratory and Staff room. The Department welcomes the aspiring student to the field of understanding the Clinical aspects of biochemistry. The foundation of the department lies on core values of promoting excellence in the classroom, imparting value systems in students, quest for excellence, promoting use of technology, imparting skill, fostering global competencies to students. We believe in providing an enriched learning environment and mentorship for students to generate skilled students for clinical research, employability and entrepreneurship. The department is set to strive to stimulate scientific inquiry through collaborative faculty student research activities supported by modern infrastructure and collaborations.
