Department of History

The Department of History at Government Degree College for Women, Anantnag was established in 1979 as the first women's college in South Kashmir . The department offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) program in History, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of historical events, cultures, and societies. The faculty comprises experienced educators who are actively involved in academic and extracurricular activities.
