Report on Observation of World AIDS Day 2025 As a part of observation of World AIDS Day-2025, Red Ribbon Club (RRC) in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society (JKACS), Department of Health and Medical Education, UT of Jammu and Kashmir and NSS wings of the college under the guidance and patronship of worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Masood Ahmad Malik organized several events on 01-12-2025 in which a good number of students of the college also participated. A painting competition was organized in which various students participated and showcased their painting skills in relevance to the theme of the programme. The theme of the competition was “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response”. After the conclusion of the painting competition, another event, Formation of Human Chain was organized in college campus of which many students were a part. Message from human chain making was to join hands together for an AIDS free society and to eradicate AIDS related social stigma and discrimination. Prof. Fariz Gulzar, member RCC shared some valuable insights regarding the theme of the programme to bring a positive change in youth espacially students in dealing with issues related to the AIDS.
