Event Details

Exhibition under the banner of NEP Conclave-2025 GCW Anantnag participated in an exhibition under NEP Conclave-2025 at Amar Singh College, Srinagar on 24-10- 2025 to 25-10-2025. The program was organised by the Department of Higher Education, Jammu and Kashmir. The aim of the event was to showcase the diverse achievements made after the implementation of NEP-2020 in the UT of J&K. The mega event provided a platform to showcase the achievements in Skill, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The stalls were established prior to the main event on 23-10-2025. On 24th of October 2025, the event was inaugurated by Shri Manoj Sinha Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of UT of J&K. Students from two departments viz., Sericulture and Food Science and Technology, GCW Anantnag contributed in the Exhibition by installing stalls showcasing their products. During the Valedictory function, Shri Omar Abdullah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of UT of J&K visited the stalls and appreciated the hardwork done by the students. Students from the Sericulture Department had prepared various products from waste cocoons such as garlands, pen holders, bangles, flower art, decorative items etc. The students the Department of Food Science and Technology prepared various food products like jam, pickles, dehydrates vegetables, etc. The stalls were highly appreciated in the event. Dr. Awquib Sabhat (HoD Sericulture) and Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Shah (HoD FST, Convener Skill Courses Monitoring Committee) accompanied the students along with Mr. Adil Sheikh (LFE).
