Event Details

The NSS wing of the college organised an Anaemia-Awareness Programme on 19th of April, 2025 under the able patronship of Prof. (Dr) Masood Ahmad Malik, Principal of the college. The event was celebrated under the Banner of “POSHAN PAKWADA” with an aim to educate participants about anaemia, its impact on health, and the steps that can be taken to prevent and manage it effectively through dietary and lifestyle modifications. The session was moderated by Prof. Rauof Ahmad Bhat, NSS Programme Officer who coordinated the event flow and introduced the speaker, Prof. Imtiyaz Ahmad, faculty, Department of Zoology who delivered presentation focusing on the causes of Anaemia, its symptoms, and dietary sources of iron and other essential nutrients. Prof. Masroofa Qadir, NSS Programme officer delivered the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker, faculty, and students for their active participation.
